Maurice Odom - Drummer/Band Leader is one of the original members of the MGM band. Maurice developed a love for music at an early age through his father who was also a musician. Talents were cultivated through the performing arts in theater, dance and singing with the Central State touring choir. His passion for music resonates with all audiences. Influences include good friend Myron Gardner, drum teacher Robert Hubbard and a host of talented musicians. Currently serves as Minister of Music at Rising Star Baptist Church.
